Please follow these instructions carefully for 10–14 days after your Ombré & Powder procedure to protect your results and ensure proper healing.
Every two hours, gently splash your eyebrows with distilled or filtered water and pat them dry using sterile gauze or a clean paper towel.
During cleansing, avoid direct shower water, steam, or water pressure hitting your eyebrows.
If your eyebrows accidentally get wet, pat them dry without rubbing.
Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor (or ointment recommended by your artist) twice daily (morning and night), commencing on Day 1.
Utilize the size of a grain of rice, a very small amount, with clean Q-tips.
Continue this regimen for a total of 10 days.
Avoid over-application, as excessive ointment can impede proper healing. A thin layer is sufficient to prevent dryness.
If you have allergies to any ingredients, consult your pharmacist or doctor for a suitable alternative. Be aware that alternative products may impact the healing process and could necessitate additional touch-ups.
Refrain from rubbing, scratching, or picking at the treated area.
Permit any flaking or scabbing to detach naturally.
Picking can result in pigment removal and potential scarring.
If itching occurs, gently pat the affected area to alleviate discomfort.
Refrain from submerging your eyebrows in baths, pools, or hot tubs.
Avoid swimming in saltwater or chlorinated pools for a period of 15 days.
Refrain from using saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, or sunbeds.
Avoid direct sun exposure during the healing process.
After 30 days (once healed), apply sunscreen regularly to prevent fading.
For a period of fourteen days, refrain from engaging in any form of physical exercise.
Upon the completion of the fourteen-day period, it is advisable to wear a sweatband during workouts to prevent sweat from directly contacting the eyebrows.
During the healing process, it is recommended to avoid gardening or engaging in strenuous outdoor activities.
Refrain from touching the treated area with your fingers.
If necessary, utilize only a sterile cotton swab.
Avoid contact after handling pets. Prohibit pets from occupying your bedding during the healing process. Replace sheets if contamination occurs.
Adopt a supine sleeping position for a duration of ten days.
Utilize a clean satin pillowcase during the healing period.
Non-compliance with instructions may lead to pigment loss or scarring.
Refrain from applying makeup to the treated area until it has fully healed.
Avoid brow tinting until the healing process is complete.
Do not apply daily skincare products directly to the brows.
Refrain from scheduling chemical peels or medical procedures until the healing process is fully complete. Inform any provider that you have undergone Ombré & Powder treatment.
If donating blood, inform the nurse about your procedure. Blood donors must wait one year before donating (per American Red Cross guidelines).
Mild discomfort or slight stinging is normal immediately after the procedure. Severe pain is not normal.
Be vigilant for the following indicators of infection:
Thick, elevated scabbing
Excessive redness surrounding the affected area
Yellow discharge
Increasing pain or swelling
Tenderness or heat in the skin
Red streaks extending from the area
Fever or elevated body temperature
If you experience any of these symptoms, please contact your primary physician promptly.
Your eyebrows will appear darker and more defined than anticipated. This is entirely normal. As the healing process progresses, the strokes will become softer, and the color will lighten.
Certain areas may exhibit variations in color or texture. This is a natural occurrence during the healing process and will be refined during your touch-up appointment.
The majority of clients require one to three sessions to attain their desired outcomes.
If you have undergone previous brow procedures, scar tissue may necessitate additional sessions to achieve optimal results. Additional fees may be incurred.
Ombré & Powder is a two-step process.
A touch-up appointment should be scheduled 4–8 weeks after your initial procedure. Final results cannot be determined until this appointment is completed.
Retin-A, Retinol, and other retinoids can cause premature fading.
Avoid products containing:
AHA’s
Vitamin A
Retinol A
Glycolic Acid
Lactic Acid
Skin-lightening agents
Prior to applying products near the eyebrows, it is imperative to thoroughly review the ingredient labels.
Apply sunscreen regularly to prevent fading.
Avoid exfoliating scrubs or laser treatments directly over the eyebrows.
Maintenance touch-ups are typically required every 12–18 months.
Refrain from smoking and consuming alcohol for the initial 48 hours, as these substances may impede the healing process.
Avoid Botox, fillers, or facials for a minimum of four weeks following the procedure.
